The club's installation of officers for the 2021-22 Rotary Year took place at the new Pizzo's location in the Millenia development. President Anthony Millican, President-Elect Mark Gillette, Secretary Sabrina Monaco, and Publicity Chair Tara Simpson were sworn in as part of the new board. The club also celebrated the "outstallation"of club presidents Mauricio Torres, Sam Hernandez Meza and Anthony Millican. Each had assumed a leadership role during the previous year, impacted by the pandemic and related restrictions. The club continued meeting throughout the pandemic both in virtual and, later, hybrid formats. Members went on hikes, conducted service projects, and held fundraisers to the best of our ability given the circumstances. More than one member commented that we became closer as a club, and stronger. COVID-19 changed and impacted all of us in large ways and small. In many ways, we came out stronger from the pandemic. It was an amazing, challenging year. We could not have done it without you. We look forward to an exciting new Rotary year, one that will see our support for local and international service projects grow and grow.
